USCIS has announced a new preliminary date for its public-facing offices’ reopening. We previously reported that public facing functions were closed through May 3. Now that closure has been extended through June 3, as USCIS states it is “readying offices to re-open in compliance with local and state orders, on or after June 4.”
All Applicants and Petitioners with ASC, asylum and naturalization appointments should expect their appointments to be rescheduled with the appropriate notice to be mailed to them and their attorneys. All other appointments including InfoPass must be rescheduled through the USCIS Contact Center.
USCIS will continue to provide further updates as the situation develops.
