Galati Law Firm Expands Team with Two Penn State Summer Associates to Meet Growing EB-5 Demand Ahead of September 30 Deadline

The Galati Law Firm is pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Navarrete and Ryan Ricketson as the Firm’s 2026 Summer Associate class. Their arrival comes as the EB-5 industry experiences increased demand from investors seeking to file petitions before the September 30, 2026 Grandfathering Deadline for the Regional Center Program.

As Summer Associates, Navarrete and Ricketson are supporting the Firm's growing immigration practice by assisting with the preparation of EB-5 petitions, adjustment of status filings, legal research, mandamus complaint preparation, and federal court motion drafting. Their work augments the Firm’s capacity to efficiently serve clients navigating one of the busiest filing periods in recent years.

Both Summer Associates join the Firm while pursuing their law degrees at Penn State Dickinson Law (Class of 2028). Both additions bring strong credentials and skills to augment the Firm’s talent.

This fall, Ms. Navarrete will serve as a student clinician with the Center for Immigrants' Rights Clinic while also serving as President of the Immigration Law Society and Outreach Coordinator for the Women's Law Caucus. Ms. Navarrete earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a concentration in Latin America and a minor in Spanish from the University of Missouri. She is passionate about immigration law and enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and taking long walks outside of school and work.

Ms. Ricketson volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping clients navigate tax filing processes. Before law school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics and a minor in Statistics from the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. Ms. Ricketson brings experience in finance, analytics, legislative monitoring, and public service legal work, along with a growing passion for immigration law.
