The Galati Law Firm’s Principal Matthew Galati recently participated in two panels held by leading EB-5 industry organizations where he discussed the status of the program, litigation, and investment immigration generally.
On April 9, Matt moderated a panel of esteemed attorneys for IIUSA’s Live Webinar, “EB-5 in the Courts: Lawsuits, Litigation and Influencing the Industry’s Future.” In this presentation, Matt and co-presenters discussed options for EB-5 litigation, including mandamus filings for cases pending for long periods of time. The webinar is available for download to IIUSA members and nonmembers alike.
On April 16th, Matt participated as a panelist for EB-5 Investors Magazine’s Hong Kong Virtual Immigration Expo. In the panel, titled, “Facts vs Myths: What is the reality regarding investment rates, wait times and visa caps for EB-5?” Matt dispelled common myths involving the EB-5 program and discussed ongoing EB-5 issues amidst the COVID-19 crisis. The Hong Kong Virtual Immigration Expo continues for an additional day.
