The Galati Law Firm is pleased to announce that two of its attorneys will be appearing on panels in upcoming CLE events. Halston Chavez will be presenting at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”) 2025 Annual Conference and Webcast on Immigration Law. Alexandra George Santhanam will be guest speaking at AILA’s Rome District Chapter’s Fall 2025 Conference.
The 2025 AILA Annual Conference plans to host the country’s “largest gathering of immigration law professionals” and provide insight into all areas of U.S. immigration. The conference will take place June 18 – 21 in Denver, Colorado.
Mrs. Chavez will be joining fellow attorneys Joseph Barnett, Belma Demirovic Chinchoy, and Irina Rostova to discuss EB-5 fundamentals, including understanding EB-5 policy changes, future trends, and our professional roles as EB-5 practitioners. Mrs. Chavez’s panel will take place on Saturday, June 21st, from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM (MST).
Mrs. George Santhanam will be joining fellow litigators (panelists yet to be confirmed) in a panel discussion titled “Kafkaesque: What’s Been Happening in the Courts?”
The Rome District Chapter’s Fall conference is scheduled for October 22 – 24 in Frankfurt, Germany. This panel will explore the state of immigration litigation following the outcome of the Department of State v. Munoz, and how attorneys can still pursue relief for their clients through litigation.
We would like to congratulate Mrs. Chavez and Mrs. George Santhanam and encourage you to attend these events for more information on the EB-5 program and federal litigation. For more information, contact us today.
