The Galati Law Firm is pleased to announce the addition of Ralf D. Wiedemann, Esq. as Of Counsel. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Wiedemann joins the Firm with a focus on providing its clients with PERM and employer-sponsored petition services.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Ralf join our team,” said Matthew Galati, Principal of The Galati Law Firm. “Ralf is such a talented and prestigious attorney with a national reputation. Our new relationship will pay dividends for our clients for years to come.”
The PERM process is a key element of most types of employment-based immigration, requiring prospective employer-sponsors to undertake highly technical steps and filings with various state and federal agencies in order to secure lawful permanent residency for their employees.
“Ralf has incredible experience with employer-based immigration, harkening back to the days before the PERM system existed,” Galati continued. “Since its inception in 2005, the complexities of the PERM process have increased many-fold. Receiving counsel from someone who has experienced the evolution of employer-based immigration sponsorship over so many years is critical for companies and employee-immigrants alike.”
As the child of two immigrants (and the spouse of another), Mr. Wiedemann embarked on this personal profession in 2000. Mr. Wiedemann possesses a resume of working in large-, medium-, and small-firms alike. Beyond his role as an immigration attorney, Mr. Wiedemann has served as Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany since 2012. He is fluent in German.
Mr. Wiedemann is a graduate of Valparaiso University and the University of Minnesota Law School. He has lived in Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, and has resided in the Philadelphia region since 2000.
Beyond his role at the Firm, Mr. Wiedemann maintains a separate practice, the Law Office of Ralf D. Wiedemann LLC, a firm dedicated solely to U.S. Immigration and Nationality law. There, Mr. Wiedemann provides his clients with a wide array of immigration and naturalization services.
