In a tweet today, USCIS announced that its public-facing offices will remain closed through April 6 due to ongoing health concerns relating to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Although its website is not yet updated as of the time of this writing, the agency's Twitter feed states as follows:
UPDATE: In an effort to protect our employees and communities, on March 18 we temporarily suspended providing in-person services at all of our offices. Our field offices, asylum offices and Application Support Centers will now remain closed until April 7, unless further extended.
These functions were previously closed until April 1. Our office has already received ASC and interview rescheduling for mid-to-late March appointments. We will continue to keep our readers abreast of further agency developments stemming from to the Coronavirus pandemic.
