We are Suing to Stop USCIS' Fee Increases

On March 19, 2024, the combined team of The Galati Law Firm (Matthew Galati), Bless Litigation (Jesse Bless), and Wasden Law (Jonathan Wasden) have filed a lawsuit in the District of Colorado aimed at enjoining USCIS' proposed fees from going into effect and gouging millions of immigrants, those who sponsor them, and those who facilitate their capital to create American jobs.

The case is capitoned Moody et al v. Mayorkas et al, 1:24-cv-00762 (D. Colorado).

In the Moody complaint, we allege that the Department of Homeland Security violated the Administrative Procedure Act as well as the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 both substantively and procedurally.

At present, our three firms have engaged with Moody plaintiffs without direct payment of legal fees. We expect our out-of-pocket costs and time spent on this matter to be substantial. Our plaintiff-client, the American Immigrant Investor Alliance (AIIA), has graciously volunteered to raise funds through their network in an effort to cover our legal fees and costs. We hope you will consider donating to the cause.

We will have more updates involving this case as it progresses.
